Coming off a 23-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, the Denver Broncos are now ranked No. 4 in Nate Davis latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. They remain constant since their No. 4 ranking last week.
Here is Davis' commentary on the Broncos going into Week 6:
Would have liked to see the offense show a bit more life in Sean Payton's first week back in the play-calling saddle. But at least the defense finally seems to be coming back around for another team that seems very well positioned to take off anew.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 2, the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 15 and the lowly Chargers are ranked No. 30.
The Seattle Seahawks, who will travel to Denver for a Thursday Night Football
showdown with the Broncos this week, are ranked No. 3.
Overall, the San Francisco 49ers are ranked No. 1 and the Tennessee Titans are ranked No. 32 (last). To view the complete NFL power rankings following Week 5, visit USATODAY.com.
