The Denver Broncos defeated the Seattle Seahawks 17-14 on Thursday Night Football in Week 6. Following that overtime victory, here are Denver's best (and worst) player grades from Pro Football Focus.
Broncos best offensive players
- OT Garett Bolles: 78.8
- RB RJ Harvey: 78.8
- C Luke Wattenberg: 73.2
- G Quinn Meinerz: 73.0
- RB Tyler Badie: 63.2
RJ Harvey averaged 4.2 yards per carry while adding three receptions for 31 yards. It seems fair to wonder if the offense would be better off with Harvey in a featured role over J.K. Dobbins, who averaged 2.4 YPC.
Broncos worst offensive players
- QB Bo Nix: 45.4
- OT Mike McGlinchey: 48.9
- G Ben Powers: 50.3
- RB J.K. Dobbins: 52.9
- WR Troy Franklin: 52.9
Bo Nix just doesn't look like the mobile quarterback he was before his ankle injury. Nix seems to be afraid to run and afraid of contact, and his performance has taken a huge dip in his third season.
Broncos best defensive players
- LB Alex Singleton: 90.5
- DE Sai'vion Jones: 80.9
- OLB Nik Bonitto: 78.2
- OLB Que Robinson: 75.0
- S Devn Key: 74.3
Alex Singleton once again led Denver's defense with
13 tackles. Nik Bonitto and Que Robinson combined for 1.5 sacks as the unit harassed Seahawks QB Sam Darnold throughout the game.
Broncos worst defensive grades
- CB Jahdae Barron: 37.8
- DL Malcolm Roach: 54.8
- CB Kris Abrams-Draine: 55.1
- S Brandon Jones: 58.3
- OLB Dondrea Tillman: 60.8
PFF seems to be dinging Jahdae Barron and Kris Abrams-Draine for allowing a lot of catches and yards to JSN, as many secondaries do. Denver kept him out of the end zone, though, and Barron and KAD had sticky coverage for most of the night.
Broncos special teams grades
- ST Kris Abrams-Draine: 92.4
- LS Mitchell Fraboni: 64.9
- KR Marvin Mims: 60.4
- P Jeremy Crawshaw: 75.0
- K Wil Lutz: 77.5 (FG) 60.0 (KO)
Jeremy Crawshaw punted eight times for 395 yards with a long of 56 yards. He was a key field-flipping weapon in a defensive struggle. Wil Lutz converted a 53-yard game-winning field goal in overtime.
