Denver Broncos veteran running back J.K. Dobbins is "good" after exiting Sunday's game with a hamstring injury, according to a report from The Ringer's Tom Pelissero.
That update follows a previous report from James Palmer that said Dobbins is merely dealing with a "slight hamstring issue." Pelissero and Palmer both indicated Dobbins is trending toward being able to play against the Los Angeles Rams
on Sunday Night Football in Week 3.During his conference call with reporters on Monday, Broncos coach Sean Payton made it sound like Dobbins and RJ Harvey (hamstring) both "at least have a chance to play" against L.A., according to the Denver Post's Parker Gabriel.
Dobbins rushed 10 times for 36 yards on Sunday before leaving late in the third quarter.
With Dobbins and Harvey both sidelined, rookie Jonah Coleman helped close out a 20-13 win with 58 yards and a touchdown on 13 touches. After picking up a first down, Coleman wisely stayed in bounds on a fourth-quarter run, allowing the Broncos to run out the clock and secure a win.
