What is the story about?

After a slow start, Denver Broncos outside linebacker Nik Bonitto is heating up once again.

Bonitto was held without a sack through the team's first two games, and he had just one sack after four weeks. The fifth-year pass rusher has since totaled 2.5 sacks in the team's last two wins.

"Coach had a really good game plan for us this week, and all we had to do was execute," Bonitto said after a 17-14 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday evening. "We knew with this team we were going against, if we stop the run, we’re going to have a great opportunity to get after the pass. Obviously, with our DBs covering the back end too, it just works hand-in-hand.”

Bonitto finished the game with four tackles, seven pressures one quarterback hit, one forced

fumble and a shared sack. While he officially ended the night with just a half-sack, Bonitto generated pressure thoughout the game:

Earlier in the game, Bonitto forced a fumble, the seventh of his career. Bonitto is now just the fifth defender in franchise history to record at least one forced fumble in each of his first five seasons.
