The Denver Broncos are calling up two players from the practice squad ahead of their Monday Night Football showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
The Broncos elevated fullback Adam Prentice and long snapper Mitchell Fraboni from the practice squad to the game-day roster for Monday's opener, according to 9News. Both players will revert back to the practice squad on Tuesday.
NFL teams are allowed to elevate up to two players from the practice squad to the game-day roster each week, and those players do not have to clear waivers to return to the practice squad. However, there is a limit of three elevations per player each season. Prentice and Fraboni have now used one of their three possible elevations.
