Who wouldn't want to get a letter from Peyton Manning?
If you're a Phoenix resident, you just might be so lucky! But why is Manning sending letters to Phoenix?
While playing quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, Peyton became a regular patron of St. Elmo Steak House. According to its website, St Elmo "has stood as a cornerstone of Indianapolis; a place where history is written over dinner and tradition is passed from one generation to the next."
Manning often frequented St. Elmo after Colts home games, and his friendship with its owners led to him becoming a partner in another restaurant, Harry & Izzy's, which is a companion restaurant to St Elmo.
Any guesses what the newest restaurant in Phoenix might be? Harry & Izzy's, as introduced to Phoenix by
Peyton in the video below:
"I know you'll love it if you check it out!" Manning "writes" before slathering shrimp cocktail sauce as a "seal" on the envelope.
Peyton's helping to bring an Indianapolis legacy to Phoenix, and hopefully, he'll bring it to Denver next!
Both St. Elmo and Harry & Izzy's restaurants are part of the Huse Culinary portfolio.
