Following the success of his 2024 "Paintin’ Manning" commercial for Nationwide, former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning has reprised his Paintin' role in a new ad ahead of the 2026 NFL season.
Manning stars alongside Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley in Nationwide's new "Locker Room" commercial. In the 30-second ad, Manning once again reiterates that Nationwide is "so much more" than just an insurance company — it's also one of America’s largest financial services companies.
“I enjoyed coming back to Paintin’ Manning, and having Saquon in the locker room gave us a new way to have fun with the character,” Manning said in a press release. “We leaned into the humor fans expect while conveying something people may not always realize: Nationwide
is on your side in more ways than one, with solutions that go beyond insurance and support people’s broader financial needs.”

Manning, 50, won two Super Bowls and five league MVP awards during his 18-year career in the NFL. Manning retired from football after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos in 2016, but he remains a top NFL personality and arguably the No. 1 pitchman in sports marketing. Manning has additional Nationwide ads set to arrive later this season.
