At last, NFL football has returned.
The Seattle Seahawks (-3) are set to host the New England Patriots (+3) in the 2026 NFL season opener on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The rematch of last season's Super Bowl is scheduled to kick off at 6:20 p.m. MT (8:20 p.m. ET).
The Seahawks-Patriots matchup will be nationally televised on NBC (which is available to stream on FuboTV). The game will also be available to stream on Peacock and on NFL+ (mobile only).
After Seattle dominated New England with a 29-13 win in Super Bowl LX, it's no surprise that the 'Hawks are considered home favorites going into Week 1 (but only by a field goal).
