Coming off a 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs (5-2) on Sunday, the Denver Broncos (6-2) are now considered 2.5-point road favorites going into a Week 9 showdown with the Carolina Panthers (3-4), according to odds from BetMGM. The over/under for total points scored between the two teams has been set at 44.5.
The Panthers are coming off a 27-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football, so they will have three more days of rest than Denver when the two sides square off on Sunday.
The Broncos have dominated the all-time series against Carolina 7-2, including a 24-10 victory in Super Bowl 50 following the 2015 season.
This matchup was a candidate to be flexed to Sunday Night Football, but the NFL opted to keep the Chicago Bears-Tampa
Bay Buccaneers matchup in a national spotlight. So the Broncos and Panthers will face off at 1:00 p.m. ET (11:00 a.m. MT) on Sunday, with the game regionally televised on CBS.
