The Denver Broncos' roster heading into 2026 looks virtually the same as it did in 2025; only a handful of newcomers arrived either through the NFL draft, or free agency to make the roster in 2026.
However, that 2025 roster propelled the Broncos to a berth in the AFC Championship game, falling just four points short of their first Super Bowl appearance since 2015. Now, Bleacher Report released its list of the NFL's most talented rosters.
In the article, the Broncos ranked as the eighth-most talented roster in the NFL, just ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers and just behind the defending champion Seattle Seahawks. The article justified the ranking by the strength (or seeming lack thereof) of Denver's draft class.
"The depth of a roster can often be
ascertained by its rookie class," Brent Sobleski wrote for B/R. "Case in point, the Denver Broncos drafted seven players this past April. Three of them have already been cut. In fact, all but one of the team's draftees in the fifth round or later failed to make the roster.
"The vast majority of Denver's roster returns from last season. The Broncos were one game away from making the Super Bowl. Significant changes weren't necessary. If anything, a young core of talent can continue to grow together."
The Denver roster boasts six members on the NFL's Top 100 club, including their highest-rated player, All-Pro cornerback Pat Surtain. The Broncos look to run back their successful season in 2026, beginning with a high-stakes game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 14, on Monday Night Football.
