The Denver Broncos are currently 5-2. But that doesn't mean that they don't have holes to fill in next year's NFL draft. Sports Illustrated writer Justin Melo currently slots the Broncos as having the 27th pick in the 2027 NFL draft and lists fixing their offensive line as their top priority.
Melo believes Garret Bolles is declining at left tackle, and right tackle Mike McGlinchey could be a cap casualty. So, in spring 2027, it might be time to bolster the offensive line, particularly at offensive tackle.
"This Denver Broncos offensive line doesn't look quite as dominant as in year's past," Melo wrote for SI. "Aging left tackle Garett Bolles is beginning to show signs of decline. Right tackle Mike McGlinchey is also a potential cap casualty, as he's
currently not meeting the expectations attached to his high-priced contract."
This could be one of the couple of years of the Broncos' Super Bowl window before changes and a rebuild will come. We'll find out next April if Melo's assessment is correct.
