Coming off a 30-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the Denver Broncos are now ranked third in Nate Davis' latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. That's up two spots from the team's No. 5 ranking last week.
Here is Davis' commentary on the Broncos going into Week 8:
Bo Nix looked like a functional quarterback Sunday in the team's best offensive showing of the season. Next, he gets the opportunity to make up for Week 1's disappearing act in Kansas City.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 6, the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 14 and the lowly Chargers are ranked No. 32. Denver's set to host the Chiefs at Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday.
Overall, the San Francisco 49ers are ranked No. 1 and the Chargers
are ranked last in the league. To view the complete NFL power rankings following Week 7, visit USATODAY.com.
