The Denver Broncos' roster cuts were great for at least one team: the Miami Dolphins.
As of publication, only five former Denver players from Sunday's cut-down from 91 to 53 players are with a new team, and three of them are with the Dolphins. Tight end Justin Joly and cornerback Reese Taylor were claimed off waivers
by Miami, and the Dolphins also signed defensive lineman Jordan Miller to their practice squad.Joly may be the most prominent ex-Bronco claimed by Miami. Joly was Denver's fifth-round draft pick out of North Carolina State in the 2026 NFL draft. Joly was originally seen as one of the heirs to the tight end room, a possible long-term replacement for veteran Evan Engram, who is in a contract year this fall. Joly is a player who has
the potential to see the field at some point this season for the Dolphins' offense.
Taylor and Miller were primarily practice squad players the past two seasons for the Broncos; Taylor saw the field as a special teams player, and Miller had yet to play a regular-season snap in orange and blue.

Denver has the potential to see all or some of Joly, Taylor and Miller in their Week 13 matchup against the Dolphins, which will take place at Empower Field at Mile High on Dec. 6.
