So far, so good for Denver Broncos second-year outside linebacker Que Robinson.
Robinson (6-4, 243 pounds) was picked by the Broncos in the fourth round of last year's NFL draft out of Alabama. After making the most of his limited opportunities as a rookie, Robinson has seen his rotational pass-rusher role expand in Year 2.
Robinson has already played more snaps (245) through seven games this fall than he did all of last season (150). He has totaled 26 tackles (three behind the line), four quarterback hits, two sacks, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery so far this season. PFF also credits Robinson with 19 pressures and 14 hurries.
"I feel like we would definitely say we’ve seen this arrow up with his play and confidence," coach Sean Payton
said of Robinson during his Monday conference call. "I think it’s a real good observation [that he's generated pressure]. I’m really encouraged with the snap counts and then the production you see when he’s playing. I think all of what you’re seeing is what we’re seeing.”
Broncos backup safety and special teams ace Devon Key said "the sky is the limit" for Robinson, whose stock continues to climb.
#Broncos safety Devon Key on OLB Que Robinson: "The sky is the limit for this guy. Me and my coach kind of have a running joke like you better buy some stock on him now because here in the next couple games and the rest of the season you just see the improvement game in and game…

Robinson is poised to continue serving as the team's third pass rusher behind starters Nik Bonitto and Jonathan Cooper. With Jonah Elliss now on injured reserve, Robinson's workload could increase even more. The second-year pass rusher is certainly trending up as the Broncos approach the midway point of their season.
