Week 9 in the Big 12 went about as expected, except for two surprising results.
The first surprise came Friday evening, when Baylor dominated a UCF team that beat BYU just last week. Late Saturday night, the next surprise came when Iowa State hit a game-winning field goal against Oklahoma State to down the Cowboys 51-49.
Elsewhere around the conference, a ranked matchup between Arizona and Texas Tech went the Red Raiders' way late. BYU staved off a second-half push from Arizona State while Utah dismantled Cincinnati. Colorado also picked up its first Big 12 win of the year, knocking off Kansas State in overtime.
