It is a fairly easy argument that Colorado football's top player is wide receiver Joseph Williams.
Williams has arguably been the best receiver in the Big 12, ranking third in the conference with 454 receiving yards and tied for the top spot in receiving touchdowns with five.
On Wednesday, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced that Williams was one of 14 receivers added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list.
The award is given annually to the top receiver in college football. Colorado's Travis Hunter won in 2024, and USC's Makai Lemon won last season. Williams was not on the preseason watch list, unlike his teammates Kam Perry and Danny Scudero.

Williams also ranks among the country's better receivers, tied for 15th with 32 receptions, 17th in receiving yards, and 11th in touchdowns.
If Williams keeps up this pace, he has a solid chance to be a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist, which Scudero was last year when he played for San Jose State.
