Colorado's big concern heading into their season opener was facing Georgia Tech's run game. It is a different story against their Week 2 opponent, Weber State, whose offense relies on its air attack more than its run game.
Colorado may be heavily favored to win their game against Weber State, but they will still have to contend with their top player, wide receiver Noah Kjar, who leads the team in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and all-purpose yards.
How Noah Kjar can change this game
The junior receiver out of Draper, Utah, has been a problem for opposing defenses in each of Weber State's games so far this season. In their first game, he caught six passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns; in their second, he caught nine for 150 yards and two more touchdowns.

receiving could make this game difficult for the Buffaloes, who struggled to contain Georgia Tech's passing game in the season opener and allowed over 100 yards to their top receiver. If Colorado isn't careful, this could become a shocking loss if they don't contain Kjar.
How Colorado slows Kjar down
Weber State does not have a deep receiving room. Kjar is their top receiver, as no other wide receiver has more than 60 receiving yards, and they have played in two games. The best way the Buffaloes can slow him down is to double-team him since it seems safe to leave the other receivers one-on-one. They should also pay attention to Weber State's tight end, Ammon Munyer, who has over 100 yards. But Colorado can still double-team Kjar and adequately guard Munyer.
Prediction
Colorado will win this game by a large margin and contain Kjar. He is only six feet tall, so he does not have a size advantage over the Buffaloes' cornerbacks. Kjar may still find the end zone, probably late in the game, but he will not be a major problem for Colorado.
