The Colorado Buffaloes are feeling good after a Week 1 victory against Georgia Tech and are now preparing for their home opener at Folsom Field on Saturday afternoon against Weber State.
Colorado's play on both lines of scrimmage, along with a strong running game, propelled them to victory. The Buffs' run defense showed up and helped the team earn the Big 12 Defensive Line of the Year.
Brennan Marion's Go-Go offense was another key storyline to emerge from the game. A massive emphasis on the running game and physicality from the offensive line was something that we have not seen from a Deion Sanders-led team at Colorado. Against a far inferior opponent like Weber State, which gave up over 360 rushing yards, Colorado's ground attack should flourish
once again.
Weber State is 0-1 after a 47-42 loss to Southern Utah. Colorado is currently a heavy favoriteand is expected to win handily.
