When your team wins 52-21, you are bound to have several standout performances. That was the case for the Colorado Buffaloes following their Week 2 win over Weber State. Defensive end Toby Anene and safety Jah Jah Boyd were named to the Big 12's Team of the Week and to PFF's National Team of the Week.
Anene racked up one tackle, one sack, one tackle for loss and a pass deflection, showing his productivity in several areas. Boyd was flying around the field, recording eight tackles and one forced fumble. Wide receiver Joseph Williams was also named to the Big 12 Team of the Week and finished with four receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
Boyd and Anene were also named to the PFF's National Team of the Week as two of the highest-graded players
at their positions. Boyd's grade was 92.6, making him the highest-graded safety of the week. Anene's grade through two weeks is 88.3, with his counterpart, Lamont Lester Jr., also having a terrific start to the year with a 90.1 grade. An impressive pass-rushing duo is certainly emerging for the Buffs.
Joseph Williams also made the Big 12's PFF Team of the Week, joining Anene and Boyd.

Colorado enters Week 3 2-0, but with a big test ahead in the Big Ten's Northwestern Wildcats, where the Buffs opened as a slight underdog on the road.
