The Colorado Buffaloes play the Northwestern Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. MT on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium in Evanston, Illinois. The Colorado-Northwestern game will be televised on Fox.
Colorado (2-0, 0-0 Big 12) wraps up its nonconference schedule this weekend, while Northwestern (1-0) will be playing just its second game of the season. The Wildcats, however, are coming off a bye week and have had two weeks to prepare for the Buffs. Still, Northwestern is less tested than Colorado. CU opened the season against Georgia Tech, while Northwestern only faced South Dakota State, an FCS program.
All the pregame analysis could go out the window, since the forecast calls for heavy showers throughout the game. As we get
closer to game day, here is ESPN's FPI's current prediction for the matchup.
