Colorado receiver Joseph Williams continues to prove he is one of the best receivers in the Big 12 despite the Buffaloes' record, after another strong performance against Texas Tech. He finished the game with 10 receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown. It is his fourth straight game with at least one touchdown.
Reed Harris and Gavin Freeman both had 100-yard games in Arizona State's loss to Baylor. Both players had similar performances. Harris caught seven passes for 125 yards, while Freeman caught seven for 115 yards. Neither receiver scored, even though Baylor scored seven touchdowns and Arizona State scored a receiving touchdown.
West Virginia receiver DJ Epps also had a big day, catching four passes for 114 yards, though he also had the game-sealing
fumble. On the other side of that game, Iowa State receiver Cody Jackson caught six passes for 160 yards and a touchdown, though he had only 31 yards in the previous game.
