Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders addressed the leaked offensive script from the Texas Tech game during Tuesday's press conference.
A Texas Tech fan said a booklet containing Colorado's offensive plays and notes was found at the Buffaloes' team hotel in Broomfield before the Oct. 3 game. Photos of the packet appeared online before kickoff. Several plays on Colorado's opening drive matched the script.
Sanders said the material was a weekly game script, not Colorado's full playbook.
"I don't think we have a whole playbook," Sanders said. "I think week to week they get a script. I thought we scored on the first drive, so what's the purpose of the question?"
Colorado scored on opening drive
Colorado went 75 yards in nine plays on its first possession against Texas Tech. Isaac
Wilson finished the drive with an 8-yard touchdown pass to Joseph Williams. The opening drive included a reverse-pass play that was among the plays shown in the leaked packet.
The Buffaloes did not score again in the 29-7 loss.
"That happens sometimes," Sanders said. "I've seen that, heard of that on the pro level as well as the collegiate level. But I think we scored on the first drive, so I guess it didn't work."

Sanders says Colorado will move on
Sanders said Colorado would not spend more time investigating the situation.
"If someone had left that, they left it. Mistake," Sanders said. "What are we going to do about it? It's over. Let’s go."
Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire said he hadn't seen the leaked photos before the game. Colorado hosts No. 11 Utah on Saturday.
