After wearing the "Caitlin Blue" and "Midnight Fever" colorways of Caitlin Clark's signature Nike shoes during the preseason, Pistons star point guard Cade Cunningham wore the yet-to-be-released "Ice Cold" colorway in Detroit's 121-113 season-opening win over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday afternoon.
As the first NBA player to wear the former Hawkeyes' signature shoes in a regular-season game, Cunningham finished tied for the team lead with 22 points on 8 of 18 shooting and 5 for 5 at the free-throw line. He also added eight assists, four rebounds, one steal, and one block in 35 minutes.

While Cunningham is the first NBA player to wear any shade of the Caitlin 1s, he won't be the last. Clark and Nike are
slated to continue releasing more colorways in the coming weeks and months.

The next Caitlin 1 colorway is the green-and-black Halloween shade, scheduled to release on Friday, Oct. 23. Along with the black, ghost green, mint foam, and racer blue hues, the shoe also features elements that allow the pair to glow in the dark.
News broke on Tuesday that Cunningham's Nike Cade 1 is set to release on July 22, 2027.
