After Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (27-15) suffered a 93-77 home loss to the Washington Mystics (26-16) on Sunday, when can fans see the former Hawkeye back on the floor?
Clark and Indiana return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 22 against the league-leading Minnesota Lynx (32-10) as they finish the season with a home-and-away split. The Fever host the Lynx on Tuesday before traveling to Minnesota to close their regular season on Thursday.
Against the Mystics, Clark finished with a team-leading 25 points on 6 of 20 shooting, 3 for 10 from 3-point range, and 10 for 10 at the free-throw line. Clark also added five assists, two rebounds, two steals, and one block in 34 minutes.
If the season ended today, the Fever would be the No. 5 seed. Indiana
trails the Atlanta Dream by one game in the standings. The Fever need to win and receive some help in order to catch the Dream in the standings and secure home-court advantage in the first round of the WNBA playoffs.
