After appearing on ESPN's "College GameDay" as the guest picker in Iowa City this past weekend, Caitlin Clark shared photos from the event and thanked the thousands of Hawkeye fans in attendance for showing up to see her and celebrate the launch of her signature Nike shoes, the Caitlin 1.
Despite seeing her third WNBA season with the Indiana Fever come to an end on Oct. 1, Clark appeared to be in great spirits in Iowa City as she put all her support behind the Hawkeyes and even gifted pairs of her new shoes to fans in attendance at the temporary Nike court situated near the Pentacrest.
"Thanks for having me @collegegameday a pretty special weekend in IC 💛💙," Clark captioned her Instagram post.
The various photos that Clark chose to include featured
her appearance on "College GameDay," the massive crowd assembled near the temporary Nike court, a photo with Iowa women's basketball coach Jan Jensen, and Kirk Herbstreit's dog, Peter, carrying one of the new Caitlin 1 shoes in his mouth.
With the former Hawkeye entering another lengthy WNBA offseason, Clark will be busy promoting her Caitlin 1 shoes, with several new colorways scheduled for release over the next few months.
