After a 94-61 win over China (0-1) on Friday to open their 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup journey, Caitlin Clark and USA Basketball (1-0) return to action today against Italy (1-0) at Berlin Arena in Berlin, Germany, in their second of three round-robin matches in Group D.
Caitlin Clark recorded a record-setting double-double with 14 points on 4-for-9 shooting from the floor, including 3-for-7 from 3-point distance, and 3-for-4 at the free-throw line, alongside the aforementioned 11 assists and three added rebounds in 25:19 of play.
While the 6-foot guard was not part of the starting lineup against China, her dominant showing earned her both Team USA and TCL Player of the Game recognition.
