Following a disappointing 31-14 home loss to Ohio State on Saturday, Iowa has dropped in the latest AP Top 25 poll heading into Week 6.
The Hawkeyes were outgained 484-238 in the game as the Buckeyes cruised to a road victory. Iowa didn't play well enough in any phase to walk away with a win on Saturday.
As a result of this loss, Iowa dropped six spots to No. 20 in the Oct. 4 AP Top 25 poll.
It wasn't the craziest week when it came to upsets in college football. There was fairly minimal movement among the top 25 teams, with Florida seeing the biggest drop after a blowout loss at Missouri. The Tigers were the biggest winners of the new poll, rising 11 spots.
In the Big Ten, Ohio State leads the way, remaining at the No. 5 spot. Five other conference
teams, including Iowa, were ranked this week. Wisconsin, Northwestern, Nebraska, and Minnesota all received votes.
