After pulling away late for a 76-66 semifinal win against a pesky Spain squad on Saturday, Caitlin Clark and USA Basketball will look to capture their sixth consecutive FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup title when they face France today in the tournament's championship match at Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany.
While Clark had a quiet performance against Spain, finishing with just one point off of 1 for 3 at the free-throw line, to go along with one assist and one rebound, the former Hawkeye helped inspire her highly skilled Team USA teammates to a clutch fourth-quarter performance en route to victory.
Meanwhile, France toppled host-nation Germany 86-64 earlier on Saturday to advance to the championship game. The French pose a serious scoring threat
