Iowa and Ben McCollum are getting an official visit from one of the elite prospects nationally in the 2028 class.
Per 247Sports' Dushawn London, five-star power forward Bentley Lusakueno will take an official visit to Iowa on Sept. 25.
The 6-foot-10, 205-pounder will also take official visits to Tennessee on Sept. 5, Vanderbilt on Sept. 12 and Illinois on Sept. 19. It's the latest illustration of the way McCollum is transforming the Hawkeyes' fortunes. Iowa offered Lusakueno in early July after seeing him on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team CP3.
Per 247Sports, Lusakueno is the No. 6 player nationally, the No. 3 power forward and the third-best player in the Sunshine State. Lusakueno is also ranked as a five-star by ESPN, while Rivals rates Lusakueno as a four-star
prospect but as the No. 10 player nationally.
