After a dominant 55-0 shutout victory over Northern Iowa on Saturday, Iowa football maintained its momentum as it rose again in the AP Top 25 poll heading into Week 4.
In Iowa's rout of Northern Iowa, the Hawkeyes' ground game was the star of the show, totaling 422 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Hank Brown was a perfect 12 of 12 passing for 153 yards and two touchdowns. As a result, Iowa climbed one spot to No. 17 nationally.
The biggest increase in this week's AP Top 25 poll was Louisville, which rose seven spots after defeating then-No. 16 SMU, 41-31. Conversely, Texas A&M suffered the biggest drop of the week, falling 14 spots after a 31-21 home loss to unranked Kentucky.
Overall, seven Big Ten teams are ranked, led by Indiana at No. 5 nationally.
Additionally, Washington, UCLA, and Nebraska.
