After Caitlin Clark propelled Indiana to a must-win 99-89 Game 2 victory on Tuesday night to extend the best-of-three WNBA Playoffs first-round series to the limit, the No. 6 seed Fever will clash against the No. 3 seed Las Vegas Aces in a decisive Game 3 on Thursday night at Las Vegas' Michelob ULTRA Arena.
Despite fouling out with 2:45 left in the fourth quarter of Game 2, the former Hawkeye finished with her second straight WNBA playoff double-double with a team-leading 27 points on 9 of 18 shooting from the floor, including 5 of 11 from 3-point range and 4 of 4 at the free-throw line. She added 15 assists and seven rebounds in 33 minutes of play.
Clark's double-double brings her to 35 such milestones in her three-year career (regular season
and playoffs), and she became the first player in league history to record a first-half double-double (points/assists) in a WNBA playoff game.
