Iowa basketball announced its 2026-27 Big Ten schedule on Wednesday, completing its full schedule in the process.
As the Hawkeyes enter their second season under head coach Ben McCollum, Iowa opens its season on Tuesday, Nov. 3 against Lipscomb.
Iowa begins its 20-game Big Ten slate at Purdue on Tuesday, Dec. 1. It marks the third time since 2021-22 that Iowa opens league play in West Lafayette, Ind. The Hawkeyes will begin the New Year with three home dates against Ohio State (Jan. 2), Wisconsin (Jan. 6) and Maryland (Jan. 9).

Iowa plays back-to-back league road games three times during the regular season. The Hawkeyes travel to Rutgers (Jan. 12) and
Nebraska (Jan. 16); to USC (Feb. 3) and UCLA (Feb. 6); and to Michigan (Feb. 20) and Wisconsin (Feb. 24).
Iowa will play five Saturday Big Ten home games, including four in January. The Hawkeyes have a total of seven weekend home contests in 2026-27.
Iowa's regular-season finale is on March 6 at Illinois, marking the fourth time since 2020 that the two teams have squared off in the finale. It's also the third time that the finale between the teams will be played in Champaign, Ill.
