After visiting Iowa City for the first time in 20 years, ESPN's "College GameDay" airing from Iowa delivered the program's most-watched episode this season and the most-watched October episode ever.
According to ESPN's press release, "College GameDay" from Iowa drew 2.9 million viewers across the three-hour college football pregame show. With Caitlin Clark as the guest picker, "College GameDay" peaked with 3.7 million viewers in the program's final hour.
It also ranked as the third most-watched regular-season episode in the show's history, which dates back to 1993.

Meanwhile, Iowa's Saturday game against Ohio State on CBS averaged 5.96 million viewers and peaked with 7 million, making it the most-watched game of the week across all networks.
