Kirk Ferentz shared a disappointing injury update on Tuesday.
After he was absent from the Week 9 depth chart on Monday, Ferentz announced that fourth-year Iowa running back Kamari Moulton is out for the remainder of the season.
"Injury-wise, Kamari, he's going to be done for the season. So, unfortunately, he's going to be done. We'll look forward to getting him back here, but he's got some rehab to go through," Ferentz said on Tuesday.
Moulton, a 5-foot-9, 211-pound back, exited last week's game at Minnesota with an apparent upper body injury in the second quarter. The Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., native was coming off a career performance in Iowa's preceding game.
Moulton rushed for a career-high 208 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries in the Hawkeyes'
41-24 win at Washington on Oct. 9.
Now, his season is over after carrying 86 times for a team-leading 541 yards with four scores. In his Hawkeye career, Moulton has rushed for 1,985 yards on 367 totes with 14 rushing touchdowns. Moulton was Iowa's leading rusher in 2025 with 878 yards.
The Sunshine State product has also caught 26 passes for an additional 140 yards.
