Caitlin Clark helped guide the Indiana Fever to a 28-16 record and to the No. 6 seed in the upcoming WNBA Playoffs. The Fever will match up against the No. 3 seed and defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces (31-13) in a best-of-three first-round series. Las Vegas has captured three of the past four WNBA titles.
In the regular-season series between Indiana and Las Vegas, the Fever claimed two of three meetings.
The Fever won the regular-season series between the two, capturing two of the three matchups. Indiana topped Las Vegas, 84-68, on July 5, and, 109-75, on July 12. Neither Clark or Aces star A'ja Wilson played in the season's first meeting. Clark scored 12 points on 5 of 11 shooting in the July 12 win, though.
Las Vegas claimed the final clash
on Aug. 6 in overtime, 86-84. Clark scored 20 points and had eight assists in that contest.
