What is the story about?

As the 2026-27 Iowa women's basketball season approaches, the Hawkeyes unveiled new-look uniforms that they'll wear throughout the campaign.

Overall, the new uniforms deliver a cleaner, simpler look, with several changes compared to last year's uniforms.

Those changes include moving away from the asymmetrical side stripe, adding a gold trim to the wordmark and number on the white uniforms, removing the white accents on the black uniform, and adding a “band” design to the waist and bottom of the shorts.

Freshman forward McKenna Woliczko and sophomore guard Journey Houston both modeled the new look below:

Iowa will debut its new uniforms in an exhibition matchup against Maryville at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Oct. 29. The Hawkeyes open their 2026-27 regular season on Nov. 2, when they host Towson.
