Washington has now caught 22 passes for 352 yards with 4 receiving touchdowns. That puts him easily on pace for career-highs in his fourth season in the NFL. The timing of this kind of season could be perfect for Washington, who is an unrestricted feree agent after the 2026 season.
Washington wasn't the only former Nittany Lion making plays for the Jaguars against the Eagles. Former Penn State tight end Brenton Strange caught some big passes in the win as well. Strange led all players with 7 receptions for 68 important yards to help set the Jaguars up for some big scoring opportunities.
The Eagles were without former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley is out wiht a hamstring injury suffered early in last week's game against the Los Angeles Rams. The Eagles are hoping Barkley can get back on the field soon, because the offense is looking stale without one of its top offensive weapons.
