The Penn State Nittany Lions have landed the second running back they were looking for, securing a commitment from three-star running back Jordan Hall on Saturday, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.
Hall was committed to the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks, but reopened his recruitment on Sept. 3 and picked Penn State over the in-state Ohio State Buckeyes. The Nittany Lions were able to get him on campus for a visit on Oct. 10, and despite losing to the USC Trojans, they were able to impress the Cincinnati, Ohio, native.
He is ranked as the No. 820 overall player and No. 64 running back in the Rivals industry ranking. The 5-foot-10, 200-pounder is also the No. 31 player from Ohio.
Hall missed his junior season with an injury, but has been excellent as a senior,
leading Princeton High School to a 10-0 record. He has 1,179 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns and counting.
Penn State now has 22 players committed in its 2027 recruiting class, the first full cycle under head coach Matt Campbell. Hall is their second commitment at running back, joining Chukwuma Odoh, another three-star product. Their class is ranked as the 22nd-best class in the country and the 8th-best in the Big Ten by Rivals.
