It was yet another record day for Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith in Week 7. Smith set a new Big Ten record with his 39th career receiving touchdown in Ohio State's big road win at Indiana. HE broke a tie with Michigan's Braelon Edwards after tying the record a week ago. Smith will continue to add to his record total as Ohio State is only halfway through the regular season, and expected to play a handful of postseason games. Already with 12 receiving touchdowns, nobody looks to be catching Smith this season in the Big Ten. Nobody else in the conference has hit double digits, although KJ Duff of Rutgers and Colin Dixon are each one away.
Penn State's Chase Sowell has moved up into the top 10 of the Big Ten receiving yardage leaders after
a big game in a losing effort against Michigan. Penn State is still missing Koby Howard, who got off to an electric start this season, but Chase Sowell has been stepping up in recent weeks to provide a reliable passing option for Rocco Becht.
