As the college football season inches closer and teams finally begin lining up against each other, we’ll hear a lot more about the 2028 recruiting class. The Class of 2027 has mostly dried up, with teams mostly just working to keep their players committed and waiting for signing day.
Penn State has already put together an impressive 2028 class, with three players committed and a bunch more who are strong candidates to end up with the Nittany Lions. The team is trying to add a couple more players to that bucket as Ryan Snyder of On3 Sports reported Tuesday morning that they are offering two more players from the class.

Christopha Alston is a four-star athlete from Washington, D.C. and should be high on Penn State’s board. Wide receiver is his main position, but he lines up all over the field and plays a variety of roles on offense. He has offers from a number of other schools, but Penn State is clearly the most established of the bunch.
The other player offered, three-star offensive lineman Collin Burris, seems like the exact type of player the Nittany Lions love up front. Going into his junior year of high school, he stands at 6-5 and weighs 300 pounds. Penn State’s offensive line would become that much better if they were able to land someone with size like Burris.
It’s still very early on in the process, so it’s unclear where the team stands in these players’ recruitments currently. Hopefully they’re able to add a couple more intriguing prospects to a class that already has so much promise.
