Penn State's basketball roster is a mix of some experienced returners, but a lot of transfers and international risks. It is a huge gamble for a team not necessarily expected to contend in the Big Ten this season but also an experiment that could come together in a unique way. Today we take a look at another international recruit in French forward Francois Wibaut.

Recruiting Rankings
Much like Roko Prkacin, Wibaut was not a typical recruit. Playing in the French Pro B league is proof enough of his capabilities as an elite player. He also has proved his pedigree at the international level, winning three youth national championships with the French squad.
Career Stats
Wibaut played for four years in the French league, averaging around 8.3 points per game, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
His highest points per game average came in his second year in the Pro B league. Internationally, he did well to shoot 49.1 percent from the field throughout his youth careerr and 33.1 percent from beyond the arc.
Projected role in 2026-27
Wibaut could stand out as a rotational piece up front, providing length and athleticism off of the bench. Most importantly, due to his versatility, he can defend multiple positions and bring the ball up as well, potentially as a point creator. It's important to remember that even though he is only 21, he has experience playing in a professional league overseas, where he has experienced various levels of competition.
Random fact
Wibaut's favorite musical artist is Drake.
