The USC Trojans were off on the schedule in Week 7, but Jayden Maiava still remains the Big Ten's passing leader after getting a head start on the season. The Big Ten passing yardage leaderboard is likely going to change a bit in the coming weeks with an injury to Ohio State's Julian Sayin. Sayin left the Week 7 victory at Indiana with an injury and head coach Ryan Day said afterward he is expected to miss several weeks. That will likely give USC's Jayden Maiava a chance to pad his lead a bit, and retake the Big Ten passing touchdown lead.
Despite the hot debate in Happy Valley about whether or not Matt Campbell should consider replacing Rocco Becht at quarterback, Penn State's veteran transfer starter is in the upper portion of the Big Ten passing
leaderboard. The concern is the interceptions thrown have proven to be costly as the Nittany Lions are struggling in Big Ten play.
