LSU football hits the home stretch of its SEC schedule when it returns to action following the bye week. Head coach Lane Kiffin and his team face ranked opponents in their next three games, giving them plenty of opportunities to build a postseason case.
The latest national championship odds from FanDuel show LSU as a frontrunner. The purple and gold have +750 odds to win the College Football Playoff. Those are the third-best odds in the country, trailing only Georgia (+330) and Notre Dame (+490).
LSU hosts Alabama for a top-20 showdown on Saturday. The Crimson Tide have +1000 odds to win the national title, which is tied with Indiana for the fifth-best odds nationally. The Tigers' last win against Alabama came in 2022, a 32-31 overtime victory
in Tiger Stadium. They lost the last three games.
Next week, Kiffin's team welcomes Texas to Baton Rouge. After that, LSU hits the road for two-straight weeks to wrap up the regular season at Tennessee and Arkansas.
