LSU football's remaining schedule isn't easy. Sitting at 6-3 after losing to Alabama, LSU faces two more ranked teams over the next two weeks before capping the regular season on the road at Arkansas.
LSU is slated to face No. 8 Texas on Nov. 14, travel to No. 9 Tennessee on Nov. 21, and play at Arkansas on Nov. 28. The games vs. Texas and Tennessee will make it three straight games vs. top-10-ranked teams in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
LSU's playoff hopes are slim, but all hope isn't lost. If LSU can win out and finish the season 9-3, the Tigers will have a good shot at earning an at-large bid.
LSU was ranked No. 14 in the first CFP rankings. That will change this week, though, as the Tigers will fall in the next release, which is slated for Tuesday
night.
