LSU and Alabama are slated to meet in a high-stakes SEC game on Saturday. Both teams enter at 6-2, and the winner will be in prime position to make a run at the College Football Playoff.
It's November. Which means every team in the SEC is dealing with injuries; LSU and Alabama are no exceptions. The SEC's first injury report of the week came out Wednesday night. The most notable note for LSU was LB Whit Weeks being listed as doubtful, but Alabama is dealing with a few question marks, too.
Star Alabama pass catcher Ryan Coleman-Williams has been out since the Georgia game after undergoing a knee operation. He's listed as questionable for the LSU contest. Despite missing time, he's still Alabama's leading WR with 23 catches for 415 yards and four
touchdowns.
On the offensive line, center Racin Delgatty is questionable. His status is worth watching. Since Delgatty got hurt, Bama's run game has collapsed.
Talented running back EJ Crowell is also questionable. He's averaged over six yards per carry when he's in the lineup.
The status of the Alabama stars should become clearer as the week continues. Coleman-Williams and Delgatty are true difference makers for the Alabama offense.
