LSU football remained put in the US LBM Coaches Poll despite a 35-6 win over Texas A&M in Week 4. The Tigers stand at No. 11, one spot outside the top 10.
There was plenty of movement throughout the rankings after a chaotic Saturday. The Florida Gators jumped into the top 10 after a statement win over Ole Miss. Meanwhile, Ole Miss fell to No. 12. The Rebels are a spot behind LSU despite Ole Miss' Week 3 win over the Tigers.
The Texas Longhorns remain No. 1 atop the poll while Georgia sits at No. 2. Notre Dame, Miami, and Indiana round out the top five.
LSU's win over Texas A&M was emphatic, but its Week 3 loss likely still lingered in voters' minds. It will be hard for LSU to climb the rankings without teams ahead of the Tigers losing.
At No. 11,
LSU remains a firm playoff contender as the Tigers move into the meat of the schedule.
