Joe Burrow is poised to have a big year for the Cincinnati Bengals. Ahead of his seventh NFL season, the former LSU football quarterback heads into training camp with lofty expectations to compete for the league's most prestigious individual award.
FanDual gives Burrow +900 odds to win AP NFL regular season MVP for the 2026-27 season. Those are tied for third-best odds with Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. He is behind Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (+650) and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (+850).
Burrow sat out for much of last year, and he hasn't been to the playoffs since 2022. But he continues to be considered one of the best passers in the NFL. For three of his seasons, Burrow finished with over 4,000 passing
yards. He owns a career completion percentage of 68.5% along with 20,810 passing yards and 157 touchdowns.
Ahead of the last few NFL seasons, Burrow generated MVP hopes. His best finish in the race was fourth, where he ended in 2022 and 2024, when he led the NFL with 4,918 passing yards and 43 touchdowns.
