Former LSU football wide receiver Zavion Thomas added to the highlight reel on Saturday night as he hauled in a 97-yard touchdown pass in a Chicago Bears preseason game.
At LSU, Thomas was known for his speed and it was on full display here. Thomas put a double move on a defender and kicked it into high gear. The pass was delivered by Chicago Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent.
This was Thomas' preseason debut and the first catch of his professional career. Thomas dealt with an injury early in training camp, but he looked to be at full strength on Saturday night.
The Bears selected Thomas with the No. 89 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. After begining his college career at Mississippi State, Thomas transferred to LSU ahead of the 2024 season and
spent two years with the Tigers. Thomas caught 41 passes for 488 yards and four touchdowns in 2025.

Third round picks are expected to make quick contributions in the NFL and Thomas has the speed to compete in the NFL.
