For the second straight week, ESPN's "College GameDay" is originating from Indiana during Week 10 of the 2026 college football season.
Host Rece Davis, Alabama football legend Nick Saban and fellow analysts Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit will be in South Bend for the top-5 showdown between coach Mario Cristobal's Miami Hurricanes and Marcus Freeman's Notre Dame Fighting Irish
at Notre Dame Stadium.Miami (8-0) is No. 1 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25, as well as the first College Football Playoff rankings unveiled on Tuesday. Notre Dame (7-1) is No. 4 in the AP poll and No. 11 in the CFP rankings.
The Hurricanes received a scare from North Carolina in a 38-35 win in Chapel Hill in Week 9. The Fighting Irish overcame
a sluggish first half to beat Navy, 35-13.
It's the 13th time in school history Notre Dame has hosted GameDay, which last visited South Bend on Dec. 20, 2024, when the Irish beat the Indiana Hoosiers in the first-ever on-campus College Football Playoff game.
Notre Dame will be making its 43rd overall appearance on GameDay. The Irish hosted the show's first on-campus telecast in 1993 when they met Florida State in a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup.
The Hoosier State hosted GameDay in Week 9 when ESPN visited Bloomington ahead of Indiana's 23-16 overtime win over Minnesota.
Kickoff for Miami-Notre Dame is 6:30 p.m. CT. The game can be seen on NBC.
"College GameDay" on ESPN begins at 8 a.m. CT each week.
Difficult decision for 'College GameDay' amid blockbuster Week 10 schedule?
Miami-Notre Dame had been circled as a potential GameDay landing spot during the preseason, and the stakes entering Saturday's game have more than lived up to the hype and fanfare. It takes on added significance given the Irish's low ranking in Tuesday's CFP reveal.
The way Week 10 has unfolded, however, sets up the most loaded slate of games across the country.
In the SEC, Alabama (6-2, No. 5 CFP) visits LSU (6-2, No. 14 CFP) with both teams fighting for a berth in the College Football Playoff. GameDay visited Baton Rouge in Week 1 for Lane Kiffin's first game as LSU's coach against the Clemson Tigers.
Elsewhere in the SEC, Ole Miss (6-2, No. 10 CFP) faces No. 2 Georgia (7-1) at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in prime time on ABC opposite Miami-Notre Dame. Ole Miss could have been a contender for a GameDay visit, but the Rebels hosted ESPN's crew earlier this year, as well.
Another long-shot contender was the Utah Utes' (8-0, No. 3 CFP) top-10 showdown against BYU (7-1, No. 9 CFP) in Saturday's "Holy War" showdown in Salt Lake City. But the Utes hosted GameDay only two weeks ago when Houston visited.
In spite of a blockbuster weekend all across college football, we think GameDay made the right call with Miami-Notre Dame.
