The Alabama Crimson Tide's odds to win the national championship have jumped following a Week 8 win over Texas A&M.
According to FanDuel, Alabama now sits at +1000 to win the national championship this season, which is current as of Sunday, Oct. 25. Those odds are tied with LSU for the sixth-best of any team, and rose slightly from a week ago when Alabama was +1200 following the loss at Tennessee.
There is also a new favorite to win the national championship this week in Georgia at +420. The previous favorite a week ago was Ohio State, who now sits at +500.
Alabama's odds to win the SEC title have also jumped following the Texas A&M win, with the Crimson Tide sitting at +700 now compared to +900 a week ago. The Crimson Tide's odds are tied with LSU
for the second-best, with both trailing current heavy favorite Georgia at +105.
Alabama enters a bye week sitting at 6-2 overall (4-2 SEC). The Crimson Tide's next game comes at LSU on Nov. 7.
